Tailored Home Design proudly put its roots down in Mukilteo, WA in March 2019. A longstanding vision of mine, THD is here to make home design obtainable and homeowners houseproud. Offering flexible packages that meet clients’ style and budget, THD can provide anything from consultations to complete gut and remodels. About Me

Owner / Mom / Wife

My passion for interior design and the built environment is, fittingly, home-grown, seeded in childhood collaborations with my dad. Together we  watched “This Old House” on the weekends and reviewed design concepts that I created on a computer program that my dad picked up at the local grocer. It wasn't a passing fad. I went on to earn a degree in Facilities Planning and Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and entered the construction industry upon graduation. Over the next ten years, I worked my way up the project management ladder from intern to project manager. I led projects at world-renowned institutions and hospitals throughout Boston, including MIT,  Boston Children’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center,  working with top-tier architects to bring their designs to life. When my husband, Jason, was offered an opportunity on the west coast, we packed up our bags and relocated to Mukilteo. This is when I decided to realize my dream and create a company of my own.  Our dream is for your home to be a reflection of you and tell your story. At THD, it is our passion to transform your room or house into a space that can be #houseproud.
