My work is rooted in thoughtful space planning, construction expertise, and a deep appreciation for meaningful design.

My journey began young, sketching floor plans on a design program my dad picked up at the grocery store. That early spark eventually led to a degree in design and facility management and to a decade-long career managing large-scale interior buildouts for world-renowned hospitals and universities in Boston.

Before founding Tailored Home Design, I spent more than a decade managing complex interior buildouts for hospitals and universities in Boston. Today, I brings that same construction-minded clarity to residential renovations, helping homeowners make thoughtful design decisions before and during the build. 

What always resonated most, though, were the quiet details. The way a thoughtfully designed space can bring ease, beauty, and connection into everyday life.

Today, through Tailored Home Design, I help homeowners create curated, soulful spaces that reflect who they are without requiring them to manage every detail of the process. I bring technical expertise, creative vision, and a collaborative approach to every project, guiding clients with clarity and care from concept through completion.

To me, good design is about more than aesthetics. It is about the memories a home holds and the stories it tells. Every home has a soul, and it is a privilege to help bring that to life through thoughtful, enduring design.

Sara lives in Everett with her husband, daughter, and two golden retrievers. When she is not working on design projects, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, traveling with her family, and gathering inspiration from architecture, nature, and craftsmanship.
